HB 5 Community and Student Engagement Survey

Community and Student Engagement Survey

Magnolia ISD is conducting an evaluation of selected programs and student services. In House Bill 5, the 83rd Legislative Session requires districts and campuses to evaluate and rate themselves based upon community and student engagement measures. The survey was created by the District Educational Improvement Committee (DEIC) which is composed of parents, teachers and community members. The survey will ask you to evaluate the performance of the following areas: fine arts; physical education; community and parental involvement; opportunities for students to participate in community service projects; second languages; the digital learning environment; and educational programs for gifted and talented students. Please respond to questions on this survey based on your experiences at your school. If you have children at multiple campuses, you may enter this evaluation more than once.
