Welcome to Mrs. Callahan's Web Page!!! :-)
A little about me:
I have a B.A. in English from East Tennessee State University with a minor in Latin. I began my teaching career in Bristol, TN teaching high school English and Latin. I have also taught high school English in Thomasville, GA and junior high English in Tomball, TX. This is my sixth year at Magnolia Sixth, and I love teaching sixth grade! English has always been my favorite subject, and I enjoy sharing my passion for it with my students.
I live in Magnolia with my husband and two daughters: one is a freshman engineering major at UT-Austin, and one is an 8th grader at MJH.
In my spare time I enjoy reading, hiking/ walking/running and watching really weird independent movies on TV.
I thrive on positivity and make that a part of my classroom culture. My wish is for all students to leave my room with a positive, meaningful learning experience.
I am looking forward to an AMAZING year at Magnolia Sixth Grade!
