Welcome to Mrs. Kaptchinskie's 6th grade Math Class

I am a Sam Houston State University graduate. I majored in elementary education and minored in math. This is where I met my husband Keith. We have been married for 18 years. My husband and I moved our family to Magnolia in July of 2012. We moved from Cinco Ranch, we wanted to get out of the city and back to our routes of more of a country living. We have 4 children (one newly acquired), Thomas and Stasha were married, May 2016. Patrick is in 10th grade at MWHS, and Elizabeth is in 8th grade at MJH. This will be my 21st year teaching. I have always taught math. I have taught 5th grade math, 6th grade academic and preap/GT, 7th grade academic and preap/GT,and 8th grade academic and preap/GT, and Algebra 1. On top of teaching I spent 2 years as a technology integration specialist in Katy. I am very excited about this year and look forward to seeing each and everyone of my students grow in their math skills.
