Welcome to Magnolia 6th World Cultures! This is my third year teaching at M6 and my first year teaching World Cultures. I know we are going to have a great year as we travel through the continents exploring world cultures.

Materials needed for class:
1.  Notebook paper
2.  Colored pencils
3.  Glue sticks
4.  Pencils & erasers
5.  Ultra fine tip black marker
6.  Red Pen
7.  Hand-held pencil sharpener
8.  Plastic folder with pockets and brads(each class has different color - see below)
1st - Blue,   3rd - Green,   4th - Yellow,   5th - Orange,   6th - Black/White,   7th - Purple,   8th - Red


My expectations for each student:

Absences:
After an absence, students are responsible for completing any missed work.  All missed handouts and assignments will be placed in the classroom absent folder.  The student will be responsible for locating the handout, completing the work and returning the completed work to the teacher in a timely manner.

6:45-7:15 Monday, Wednesday, Friday

Grading:
Parents may access student grades online in HAC.
Formative (daily) grades will be 40% of the total grade.
Summative (major/test) grades will be 60% of the total grade.
